About Us
Northern Future Skills Development (NFSD) is a Nunavut-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting unemployed and underemployed Nunavummiut through accessible, community-focused training and workforce development opportunities.
We recognize the unique opportunities and challenges faced by individuals, communities, and employers across Nunavut. Our programs are designed to reduce barriers to employment, build practical skills, and create pathways to meaningful careers and lifelong learning.
NFSD delivers high-quality, culturally relevant training that equips participants with the knowledge, certifications, and confidence needed to succeed in today's workforce. Through partnerships with communities, employers, and government organizations, we help strengthen local capacity, support economic development, and contribute to a skilled and resilient workforce across Nunavut.
